Yvonne Joseph is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After many years of working as a Registered Nurse in different work settings, I could not denial my passion for psychiatry. Mental health became my world and my life. I love caring for the mentally challenged. I went back to school to concentrate on mental health and pursue my dream. I received my bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Texas and continued to complete my Master of Science as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with Honors from my bachelor’s and master’s degree. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society, a member of Psi Beta psychology honors society, a member of Sigma Alpha PI and National society of leadership and success. I have cared for numerous patients and their families in assessing, diagnosing, and treating the mental needs of patients with so much care and compassion. I am also a faculty at Walden University where I clinically prepare psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students as future psychiatric provider. I am Board Certified in Psychiatry, licensed by the State of Texas, Minnesota and California.
